Following the death of her parents, Annie Kennedy moves from Iowa to Boston to live with her single aunt. There, she falls in love with Steven O'Connor, who appears to return the feeling. Annie is not being honest with him, however. He doesn't know that her sister is his former fiancee and the woman whose heart he broke when he ended their engagement. VERDICT Attention to period detail and a romance marred by secrets will make this a sure bet among fans of Colleen Coble.
