Parenting the Children of Now

Radio host Losey thinks the "Children of Now," those with uber-powers of intuition and observation, are here to remind issue-laden adults about our true purpose in life. Bogged down with baggage and lacking self-nurturing skills, these parents, Losey argues, are doing a poor job of parenting this special set of kids, also known as indigo or crystal children. Chapters contain exercises for adults and bonus exercises to do with children on self-acceptance and releasing fear. Other than these exercises, little text addresses parenting or indigo children. Ultimately, a book with a major identity crisis; readers with an interest in indigo children are better off with Catherine Crawford's The Highly Intuitive Child.-Julianne J. Smith, Ypsilanti Dist.
