The slaver Abajai treats Hekat differently from his other purchases because he sees something in her that marks her as chosen by the god for bigger things. The author of "The Innocent Mage" and "The Awakened Mage" launches a new series set in an exotic desert culture and featuring a fierce young heroine. A good addition to most fantasy collections
