Dr. Michael Nagler is clear about his intentions in this short, practical audio guide. He does not mean to entertain. Instead, he means to inform listeners about ways to create social change through nonviolent methods. His monotone has little to no inflection, and there are many pauses that appear unintentional, but he's more than clear and understandable. He offers numerous historical examples that point to great leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mahatma Ghandi. While listeners may not hear passion in the author's voice, this production is worth the listen for his wealth of knowledge. T.E.C. © AudioFile 2015, Portland, Maine
