Plumley makes her third trip to Kismet, Mich. (after Home for the Holidays) in this laugh-out-loud Christmas romp. High-flying L.A. talent agent Casey Jackson is in town to track progress on pop star Heather Millerâs troubled Christmas TV special. Diner proprietor Kristen Miller is trying not to feel overshadowed by her famous older sister, and failing. At first glance, the two are polar opposites. In particular, Casey hates Christmas, and Kristen adores it. But as Casey falls hard for Kristen, heâs determined to show her that heâs not some slick guy from La-La Landâand hoping she reciprocates his feelings. Meanwhile, Kristen discovers Casey spent his childhood in foster care and never had the chance to discover the joy of Christmas.
