This audiobook is an outgrowth of the Pacifica Radio program of the same name, which is hosted by author and narrator Amy Goodman. On the twentieth anniversary of the program's inception she looks back at some of the people whose stories she's covered. Begun as a challenge to big media, "Democracy Now" is one of the most popular news shows on the air. Goodman uses her radio experience to provide listeners with a memorable audio experience. Her voice is somewhat thin, but it urges us to listen to it.
