Written for those whose hunches have come true or who recognize what it means to be an empath, this book covers a range of topics related to psychic ability, including lucid dreaming, premonitions, and reading auras. In a warm, approachable tone, Ambrose (The Awakened Aura) explains different types of psychic abilities (clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance), divination techniques, and “psychic adventures,” all accompanied by personal anecdotes about her unusual gifts and experiences. Ambrose organizes the book in a logical order for curious newcomers to the psychic world, beginning with definitions of different abilities and what it means to be a psychic versus an empath. From there, she introduces more advanced ideas, such as telepathy, retrieving akashic records, and the ethics and responsibilities involved in a psychic reading for another person. Some topics seem a bit misplaced, however, such as a brief, late explanation of spirit guides after many references to them throughout the text. Still, the book is easy to follow and includes enough information on arcane ideas to inspire further research.
