Just When I Thought I'd Dropped My Last Egg

Television personality Kathie Lee Gifford reminisces about her personal life and career, comments hilariously on various topics (particularly the failings of the human body), and offers advice from her own life lessons. The audio format enhances the text by interspersing anecdotes with the occasional sound of an egg cracking (presumably yet another one that the author has dropped), as well as clips of Gifford singing her own songs. And of course, there's Gifford's voice itself: warm, expressive, and well known to many. Given her background, it's no surprise that she provides an energetic, well-timed performance, but she also comes across as sincere. Nobody else could deliver her story more effectively. A.E.B.
