Out of the Darkness

Listeners follow Sarah Hampton, sci-fi writer, and Tyler Grant, private investigator, high school sweethearts who were once caught in a real-life Halloween massacre. Now they're reunited as one of the killers returns to finish the job. Narrator Saskia Maarleveld bestows Tyler with a low growl of a voice. He's definitely in charge and determined to keep Sarah and their friends alive. It's fast-paced romantic suspense with a touch of HALLOWEEN, the movie, threading through it.
