My Lady Captor

Narrator Ruth Urquhart defly juggles a variety of medieval Scottish accents in a historical romance with some added magical elements. In response to her brother being taken captive by English soldiers, Lady Sorcha Hay decides to take her own prisoner in order to raise the funds to pay for her brother's ransom. Sir Ruari Kerr, however, doesn't take kindly to being held against his will for his clan's coin, no matter how much he desires his captor. Navigating the heavily accented language of the Scots, Urquhart captures the lovers' banter with snappy deliveries and the softer, more intimate moments as the hero and heroine grow closer.
