Rax continues her Reeves Sisters series as Burgundy, Alita, Dru, Coco, and Elyse return to sort the fallout after family secrets come to light. Elyse finds confidence and love now that she's away from Burgundy's husband, who abused her. But Burgundy can't live with Nate and goes to talk with a district attorney. Coco's boyfriend, Calhoun, isn't ready to commit as she gets ready to have her fourth child. When her son needs medical help, Calhoun learns that his best friend may be the father. Alita is being blackmailed about a child she had as a teen, and that child's identity is a bombshell. The sisters continue to meet for Sister's Day and even take a trip together as they try to support each other through the dramatic changes Rax's evocative novel delivers, along with a blockbuster ending.
