Fossett, Oregon, is a small town that has seen better days?jobs are scarce, and businesses are shuttering at an alarming rate. Quirky characters abound in this gentle romantic comedy with a hint of suspense. But it's the comic scenes featuring Shep that steal the show; whether he is faking an injury to make Bryce carry him through the woods or using his herding instinct to round up escaped fainting goats, he is always a good boy.
