Hundreds die when snipers shoot up six high school football games in bestseller Gilstrap’s propulsive 12th Jonathan Grave thriller (after 2018’s Scorpion Strike). The FBI enlists Grave, the billionaire leader of private investigating firm Security Solutions, and three of his team members to go underground as fake FBI agents to find and eliminate the killers. The next attacks use bombs to strike small Midwestern towns, again causing hundreds of deaths. The mastermind behind the mayhem, Art Evers, known as Iceman to his terrorist team, calls his operation Retribution.
