Precious and the Boo Hag

On a day when Precious is ill and has to stay home, her mother admonishes her not to open the door under any circumstances. Before he leaves, Precious's brother tells her about Pruella the Boo Hag, who would surely want to get inside. Precious questions Pruella's existence but also stores a few ideas about how to recognize the crafty woman. Sisi Johnson brings the Boo Hag to spooky life. Her changing voice--shifting from pleas to come in to sweet coaxing to exasperation--shows the many devious sides of Pruella.
