Key Lime Pie Murder

Another tasty offering in the Hannah Swensen mystery series offers up recipes for baked goods, girlish chitchat, a dead body or two, and suspense. Suzanne Toren has mastered the tonal patterns of Minnesotans and employs a fine sense of pacing. Most of her female characters do sound similar, speaking with gentle, cheery voices, but listeners are not left confused. The recipes sound delicious, and listeners may want to take notes.
