shaylynne - it is a about this girl and she her name is sunny and her and her sister starr were separated when they were three years old because their mom and their grandma died in a car accident so then sunny went with a relative and starr just got adopted put the women that adopted starr wanted sunny to but the relative wanted one to so then the relative got sunny then the relative just gave sunny to her son so then he abandoned her then she went to foster homes then all that she had of her and her sister was a old photograph of her and her sister and her grandma but sunny doesn't have a picture of her mom because the mom was taking the pictures of them. sunny loves twinkies and her foster moms name is rita and so her foster mom like healthy food so she couldn't eat twinkies for breakfast,lunch and dinner because she loves twinkies so she went to go and get twinkies and then she finds a bag and it had 820 dollars that some body lost . so then rita goes to teach her yoga class because she teaches yoga so then sunny wants to go and find her sister starr so then sunny dyes her hair green and cut her hair then she leaves rita a note that says that she is leaving to find her sister starr . and then you are going to have to read the book if you want to know what happens.

Gr 5-7-Sunny Skyland has missed her twin sister ever since they were separated at age three after their mother and grandmother were killed in an automobile accident. Sunny has kept her memories of Starr alive over the past decade and in seven foster homes. Then, the discovery of a canvas bag containing $800, with no claimant, spurs Sunny to travel from Nebraska to her old neighborhood in Enumclaw, WA. Sunny is an experienced runaway who plans carefully and tells no one. She boards a bus for the first leg of her journey but then complicates her life by adopting a stray dog. Her trip is thwarted by a group of teenage boys, and she survives a tornado. She does reach her destination, but not with the expected ending. At times the plot twists, although possible, are improbable.
