Narrator Emily Eiden has a flair for portraying 7- to 10-year-olds. Abby has just moved to Smithville and is highly disgruntled about it. When she and her younger brother, Jonah, explore their new basement, a mysterious mirror whisks them into a deep and dark forest. There they meet a most uncooperative and grumpy woman, a girl named Snow, and some remarkable miniature people. Will these plucky kids be able to help Snow solve her fairy-tale predicament, and can they find their way home? Eiden's narration sounds as lively and unpredictable as two young people can be.
