aurora19 - A satisfying pick up from the cliffhanger the last book ended on, this book begin right in the action. We get to see Connor develop further as well as the First Daughter. This book brought me to unexpected tears at times as well as proud and patriotic. I loved the alternate present it provided with President Mendez. Told through multiple POVs, the conclusion to his first mission pulled together in a gratifying bam. The book hardly slows down and tears through scenes. The writing is easy and to the point, although there is a fair amount of violence. I finished this book in a few hours. A fun, exhilarating summer read.
