PreS-Gr 2-This concept book describes various hairstyles worn by children. While the story is original and represents various ethnic and cultural norms, the writing is in a choppy style reminiscent of "Dick and Jane" books. Many phrases rhyme but there is no story line or plot, and there is little that will hold the attention of young readers.
