Coding with Sphero

Grades 2-4 Far more than just building, the makerspace movement encompasses a wide range of interests, activities, and concepts in makerspaces, as evidenced by the 21st Century Skills Innovation Library: Makers as Innovators Junior series. Accompanied by photographs of young makers in action, each book introduces a different maker topic, including the supplies needed and how to use them to design, build, or code simple circuits, robots, inventions, and more. Coding with Sphero tells students how they can use basic coding skills to move Sphero, a robotic ball with motors, a gyroscope, and LED lights. Throughout the volumes, boxed information offers helpful tips, while a concluding section encourages readers to expand their projects with suggestions given or their own ideas.
