Social Distancing

Grades 3-6 This volume of the COVID-19 series (4 titles) explores one of the most pertinent changes resulting from the current global pandemic: social distancing. In addition to explaining how it has altered daily lives and how people have adapted to these changes, Williams highlights digital tools that have kept people connected, such as Zoom and Google Classroom, and covers challenges such as limited access to computers or the internet. Large photographs depicting individuals taking part in social distancing, e-learning, and family time correspond well with the flowing text, and well-organized spreads make for an easily digestible reading experience, ideal for explaining the many changes and challenges involved with social distancing.
