For proms and other elaborate secular and religious celebrations, the number of details and the pressure to achieve perfection can seem infinite. The Post dynasty, still one of the most recognizable and trusted names in etiquette, can provide some clarity. The scope is wider than other manners books and includes a discussion of post-prom sex.
