Gr 9 Up-Students who are past asking, "What will I be when I grow up?" and who are instead wondering how to translate existing interests into marketable skills, would do well to consult this solid series. Each detailed title presents specific opportunities in a different field, offering a job description, the necessary skills and background, working conditions, salary, and a list of resources. Education, for instance, covers positions such as early childhood educator, education administrator, library media specialist, and school counselor. Interviews with individuals in these fields add a personal touch. Strong selections for students trying to winnow down their options.
