angelay - I was really impressed by this book! It's a really good YA novel that teaches us about trust and friendship and the importance of good relationships. I like the main characters because they are relatable - Carlos is impulsive but clever, and Kiara is really gentle but she isn't like most girls. She's more simple and sassy rather than mean and snide, the kind of girls that Carlos usually prefers. There are a lot of problems that the pair encounter, like initial mutual hate/dislike for each other, etc, but in the end they work their way past their problems into a sweet ending.
