Princess in Waiting

Mia, the Princess of Genovia, is not skilled at waiting, yet that is exactly what she must do: wait for winter vacation to be over so that she can have a first date with her new boyfriend, Michael; wait for the government of Genovia to see the wisdom of her environmental advice; and wait to understand that her grandmother does have her best interest at heart. Clea Lewis narrates Mia with all the impatience and uncertainty of a teenaged young lady. The stress, the longing, the insecurity, and the exuberance that Mia wears on her sleeve Lewis voices with cocky exaggeration and high-pitched delight.
