Grades 9-12 In the middle of their junior year, Brandi and Marisa are dealing with self-esteem and body issues, respectively, while Shane attempts to resolve her secret relationship with a teacher. When an anonymous note seemingly threatens all three friends' lives, suspicion turns toward the new guy in school; is Dustin the stalker or is someone else responsible? The latest entry in the Port City High series bounces quickly between narrators and plotlines, but short chapters and plenty of action will keep high/low readers invested, and the characters' ethnic diversity is gratifying.
