In Vogt’s quietly beautiful inspirational contemporary, two people learn to let go of the past and discover that God often works in mysterious ways. Haley Ames is a pregnant, grieving military widow who’s shocked to find her dead husband, Sam, alive and well and standing on her porch when she comes home one day. But the man isn’t Sam—it’s his twin, Stephen. Haunted by unfinished business with his brother, Stephen persistently pursues Haley, and offers to help her whether she wants it or not. After a near kiss sends both into an emotional tailspin, they battle their attraction to each other, their inner struggles, and their need to make practical life decisions. Slowly, cautiously, they fall in love. But a miscommunication separates them, leaving them both praying for guidance.
