fireblazes88 - Karen is an ordinary girl who's parents are going through a very hard time. They always have arguments over small things like pie. They are never satisfied with each other, so they divorced. Karen is sad and tries all her best to try to get them back together, but nothing seems to work. In the end of the book, Karen realizes that life is unfair and you don't always get what you want. She actually got over it that her parents were divorced. I think this book was very sad and touching, but altogether, I would recommend it!

An African-American family moves to all-white Grove Street in Iggie's House, to be released in April. The author's breakthrough title, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, about 11-year old Margaret Simon's struggles with puberty and religion, is now available in hardcover as well as in a Spanish-language edition, Estas ahi Dios? Soy yo, Margaret. Two additional titles came out last season: Blubber takes on preteen teasing; and It's Not the End of the World explores the effects of divorce.
