The Worst Witch Saves the Day

Mildred Hubble, a young witch at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches, is determined to do better in her schooling this year. Alas--her hair-growth spell goes awry, her cat, Tabby, is uncooperative, and she breaks her broomstick--so it looks like she's the school's worst witch again. This story is greatly enhanced by the narrative talents of Miriam Margolyes. Margolyes has a cheerfully hearty voice that may be familiar to those who enjoy British films; her enjoyment in reading this story makes listening to it even more fun.
