I Am a Big Sister

Preschool When a new baby arrives, a little girl celebrates her role as big sister. She helps at feeding and bath times. Quiet during nap time, she sings lullabies when Baby wakes up. The infant grows a little with each turn of the page, but the focus remains on the upbeat older sister, who narrates the book in rhymed couplets. Church's appealing digital illustrations feature winsome children in simplified settings. The stiff pages here, while thinner than those in most board books, will withstand plenty of use.
