In this recording, a restatement in book form of scores of well-established Republican talking points, apologist Limbaugh, brother of radio's arch-conservative entertainer Rush Limbaugh, holds forth, at length. Narrator Raymond Todd, whatever his personal political leanings, provides a convincing nine CDs of disdainful-sounding rhetoric. This is something of an accomplishment, as the text requires Todd to sustain a tone of dissent and disgust for quite a long time. The Limbaugh camp may enjoy this recording, or those curious about hearing one man's answer to the many slings and arrows slung at the Bush Administration. Whether defending the infamous "Mission Accomplished" moment or the Iraq occupation itself, Limbaugh meticulously attacks and defends, depending on the topic. D.J.B.
