Abundant holiday spirit and an occasional dash of Christmas magic add zest to this collection of delightful contemporary short romances that run the stylistic gamut from gently cozy to in-your-face sassy, with equally good results. Two tales tap into a growing trend and address disability issues by featuring heroes in wheelchairs (Theresa Alan's "Santa Unwrapped" and Fern Michael's "A Bright Red Ribbon"), while two stories use traditional tried-and-true reunion/second chance scenarios (Linda Lael Miller's "The 24 Days of Christmas"and Jane Blackwood's "Maybe This Christmas"), this time with a sprinkling of angel dust. While the unfortunate insertion of teaser chapters from forthcoming novels after two of the stories breaks the flow of the Christmas mood to an annoying degree, this anthology does offer something for everyone, and most libraries will want to add it to their Christmas lineup.
