Faith in their love and spiritual courage may be the only things Trevor and Kate have to go on, but it may not be enough to keep them together. This story is loosely based on a memoir by Edward Trudeau, a pioneer in the research and eradication of TB at the turn of the 20th century. VERDICT RITA, Christy, and Daphne du Maurier Award-winning author Camden (Into the Whirlwind; Against the Tide) does an excellent job of portraying the devastating scourge that was TB. Recommended for fans of historical fiction and those seeking a peek into the lives of the brave souls who dedicated themselves to finding a remedy.
