Douglas (Falling Away) fills this stunning, brazenly erotic contemporary with high-stakes passion, addictive tension, and spirited bantering. Perfectionist 23-year-old Easton Bradbury’s plans for a fresh start are going well, until arrogant 35-year-old tycoon Tyler Marek walks into her classroom, bringing back memories of their brief torrid encounter years before. She’s the teacher for Tyler’s son, and Tyler knows that makes her untouchable, but it doesn’t dampen his fascination with her or his need to control what he wants. Their explosive chemistry leaves them both in a precarious position, and each encounter fuels their sexual hunger. As the guilt from Easton’s past invades her present and Tyler learns hard lessons about choices, control, and priorities, the readers will enjoy seeing the mental and emotional levels of the relationship develop amid blistering intimate scenes. Soon practical and emotional decisions will have to be made, and the characters’ scars and fears lead to strength and courage.
