Once upon a time, Eva Knox left Buck Tanner standing at the altar. She fled to Boston and made a new life for herself. Then she dumped another fiance and fled back to Abundance, GA, and her family's plantation. Her father is now growing olive trees, and he makes Eva head of marketing and PR as she recovers from her latest heartbreak. While out jogging, Eva trips over a corpse. Turns out Buck Tanner is all grown up and is now the county sheriff. Who is dead in the olive grove? It seems the victim has two different names. And why are there Mafia types from Boston staying at the plantation? VERDICT Eva is finished with men, but who can resist a gorgeous good ole boy? Her zany family helps her cope, and she wants to do her best for them as well. Charming characters and an atmospheric Southern setting make this a tasty debut for food cozy aficionados. Includes delicious Southern recipes that incorporate, of course, olive oil.
