He stays for three days while he heals, and both Jessamine and Tristan realize that they share a connection. Will she leave the safety of the village in order to pursue a life with a stranger? VERDICT Gabhart's latest (after The Blessed) character-driven story is a sure bet for fans of Jerry S. Eicher.
