When Shannon and Daniel meet at a wedding, the attraction is instantaneous, electric, and profoundly meaningful. As with March’s earlier entries, lovable and well-developed secondary characters add depth and humor. March (Teardrop Lane, 2015) returns to Eternity Springs, Colorado, to tell the story of a broken man and a woman on the run who both desperately need a second chance to find love. Daniel Garrett has spent the last 10 years searching for missing children after losing his wife and son. Shannon O'Toole has been trying for years to stay one step ahead of the stalker who killed her fiance. When they meet at the wedding of a mutual friend, Shannon and Daniel are instantly drawn to one another. The healing powers of Eternity Springs is making them feel as though they've found a real home, but Daniel and Shannon have a lot of issues to resolve before they can make their way to happily-ever-after. March excels at creating tortured characters in need of redemption and renewal, and this book, the tenth in the Eternity Springs series, is no exception. It has plenty to offer, from light suspense to romance, close friendships in a small town setting, dogs, and angels.
