Lynn (Wait for You), a pseudonym for paranormal romance author Jennifer L. Armentrout, delivers an earthy and unsurprising new adult contemporary about best friends secretly in love with each other. College senior Sydney Bell has adored Kyler Quinn since they were little kids, but she’s certain that “man-whore” playboy Kyler could never feel the same way about her: “We went together like a lion and a gimpy gazelle.” Little does she know that Kyler shares her feelings. A plan for a pre-Christmas gathering of college friends at Kyler’s mom’s ski house in the mountains becomes a provocative situation when Kyler and Sydney wind up stranded alone at the house in the middle of a week-long blizzard. To make things worse, someone begins attacking them and sabotaging the house. Sydney and Kyler are one-dimensional characters, and the predictable plot offers few surprises, but this story should satisfy readers who crave steamy lust with a happy ending.

While the two are stranded at a swanky ski resort, their feelings surface and the cold winds can't stop their red hot romance. Lynn is a pen name of author Jennifer L. Armentrout.
