Kiara is pregnant and waiting for her divorce from Rashad to be finalized. Rashad is living with his pregnant girlfriend, Nicole, who works for Kiara. Nicole flaunts her status, even including inviting coworkers to her baby shower. But a former boyfriend wants Nicole back and a moment of weakness jeopardizes her plan to marry Rashad. Rashad's former mistress, Alexis, another of Kiara's employees, is doing well with her boyfriend and enjoys becoming surprisingly good friends with Kiara. Her happiness is in such contrast to her time with Rashad, she finds herself advising other women in similar situations. As Rax (If Your Wife Only Knew, 2016) continues her Love & Revenge series, she applies karma to these characters in surprising ways as rivals find ways to bond. At times Nicole and Rashad fall into stereotypes, but Rax's strength is in showing growth, especially among her sympathetic female characters, and this tightly written soap opera rises above others in the genre.
