After suffering with her domineering ex-husband, a son who contributes nothing to her household, and a daughter who treats her like a pariah during her wedding, Molly Peel decides that she has had enough. The only thing left from her marriage is the London house she grew up in, which her ex-husband wants. Molly decides she must leave. While her son is on vacation, she packs up his belongings and throws him out. She then sells the house, and finds a new place to live and a job in the countryside when a developer, Euan Santiago, mistakes her for a temp worker and hires her. A widower, Euan not only appreciates Molly's organizational skills but he is also attracted to her. Molly can now have it all if she can break the chain forged by her ex-husband and stand up for herself against his attempts to sabotage her life. Women of a certain age will cheer as Molly starts to live her own life.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2011, American Library Association.)
