Legal scenarios and sexy surprises bond the trio of stories in Allure’s capable second Meeting Men erotica collection (after Playing Doctor). In “Attorney-Client Privileges,” a workaholic attorney needs a pro bono case to maintain his standing within his prestigious law firm and hopes a “quick and dirty” prostitution case does the trick. Genuine goodness wins over misogyny as the preamble and end titillate and bolster the floundering middle. In “Of Unsound Mind and Body,” client Liza Jensen is mystified by handsome lawyer Franklin “Hawk” Ross, who believes that if a customer isn’t fully satisfied he has not done his job. Intense chemistry, great characterization, and a kinky page-singeing ending will have readers clamoring for more of Liza and Hawk’s adventures. In “Of Writs and Writhing,” successful lawyer Pat Laroque dresses up to catch the eye of Emmit Stockard, the “Playboy Judge of New Orleans,” and win her case.
