Sweet Ruin

Narrator Robert Petkoff breathes life into the latest in Cole's wonderful Immortals After Dark series. Rune--who is part demon, part fey--is charged with the duty to assassinate the Valkyrie Nix. While on his quest, he encounters the vampire Josephine, who fascinates him. Petkoff immediately draws the listener into the story, starting with the introduction of Josephine and her baby brother. The listener will delight in Petkoff's rich accents for each character. His portrayal of Josephine communicates her vulnerabilities and strengths.
