Borders of Infinity

The Reader's Chair brings us three novellas from the life of Miles Vorkosigan, the crippled Vor Lord from Barrayar. In "The Mountains of Mourning," Miles must play Sherlock Holmes to a murder in the woods of Barrayar. In "Labyrinth," he must rescue a geneticist trapped in Jackson's Whole. In "The Borders of Infinity," Miles must escape from a Cetagandan Prison. The team of Michael Hanson and Carol Cowen again gives us an auditory treat with their distinctive reading styles. Solid writing makes BORDERS OF INFINITY a joy to listen to. Again, there are no "end of side" markers, but it's a small price to pay for such a wonderful book. A.Z.W.
