Armor

The biggest challenge narrator Tom Weiner faces in his performance of ARMOR is that almost all the characters in this futuristic story hail from different points on the globe. Chinese, Russian, and Jamaican characters are among more than a dozen brought to life in this science-fiction classic. Weiner handles the varied accents so perfectly that he makes it sound easy, certainly easier than his character's mission to destroy an army of giant, intelligent ants. The main character wears incredible body armor that not only protects the soldier's body from the horrors of war, but also his mind. But it can't protect him from heartbreak and betrayal.
