Gid, Johnny and Molly share forty years of work, love, heartache and friendship in Texas. All three tell their tales of life on the open range. The book is divided into three parts, each told by a different character and read by a different narrator. Gid tells of their early years growing up and learning about love and friendship. Molly picks up the story twenty years later and, using flashbacks, describes her feelings in this love triangle. Johnny completes the story. Each narrator reads the story with a minimum of intonation, but the characters are easily identified. This interesting and rewarding audiobook brings Texas to life. M.B.K.
