Murder on the Prowl

The feline Mrs. Murphy and her sleuthing team, corgi Tee Tucker and fellow feline Pewter, help Postmistress Harry Haristeen solve a series of fake obituaries announcing the deaths of various members of the citizenry of Crozet, Virginia. When one of the phony obits is followed by a real murder, Mrs. Murphy knows that someone's up to no good. With their ability to go where humans can't, the animals excel in looking into the mysterious events. Narrator Kate Forbes sounds like an endlessly patient school marm.
