Mrs. Pollifax on the China Station

Now on perilous assignment to the People's Republic of China, posing as a tourist, she's expected to find and help rescue a labor camp inmate. Barbara Rosenblat moves the plot slowly and effortlessly into another culture, sipping LuChar, traveling the Silk Road, past the Terracota Army of Qin Shihuang, past Kazac horsemen, and down the cliffs of Sichuan.
