It seems Sunshine Valley has declared open season on Darcy Harper. From the staff at the courthouse of her late husband, Judge George Harper, to his two private practice lawyer sons, Rupert and Oliver, no one is happy that Darcy has been appointed to serve as the small Colorado town's interim judge. If trying to adequately satisfy the judicial needs of Sunshine Valley isn't demanding enough, Darcy must also deal with the pesky presence of Jason Petrie, who before Darcy married George had been the love of her life.
