This classic Wodehouse novel is revisited in an audio edition that features a spirited reading from Nigel Lambert, whose remarkably entertaining performance will dazzle listeners from beginning to end. Set in post-WWII Britain, the ninth earl of Rowcaster—Bill for short—has hired a new servant: the inimitable gentleman’s personal gentleman, Jeeves. Wodehouse’s wildly colorful characters offer Lambert an opportunity to shine, and he never fails to disappoint. His reading features a host of unique voices and rich, textured dialects; it also possesses a theatricality that few audiobook narrators manage to master.
