Romance, suspense, and the supernatural once again converge in Tyler’s enervating fifth SWAT paranormal (after To Love a Wolf). Werewolf Alex Trevino is part of the Special Wolf Alpha Team (SWAT) of shape-shifting law enforcement officers in Dallas, Tex. A straightforward but exhausting mission to get a dangerous drug off the streets takes a turn for the better when Alex meets veterinarian Lacey Barton, who may be his soulmate. She’s reluctant at first but eventually agrees to date him, and everything is better than she ever expected until she tracks down a man she suspects to be part of a dogfighting operation, and he tries to kill her.
